Best Online Community Software for an association
by RickBan, Tue August 31, 2010 10:29 I'd like to host the website of my local association (exchange of furnitures, clothes and foods) and extend it with a forum for trading and barting.
So, which community association software would you suggest me for this purpose?
Stats: around 500 members, very active, everyday of the week (more particularly during weekend and holidays). Association created in California.

Hi, for such small communities, I would suggest you using MyBB, or even FluxBB/PunBB. There are, indeed, sufficently simple and efficient for your needs.
Of course, to be sure that everything's going well, do not forget to create Rules to be sure that everybody uses your forum correctly
