If you have your own forum then you have to contact the hosting companies that will gonna host your forum and you will have to pay some money for that and it will also gonna register in Google. if you have your forum software then you can upload it on any site and contact them and you can sell it from there.

SO you want to promote or post you forum or software of forums? There are so many way of promoting software as considering as a product. So i think if you have your own forum so this is plus point for you, You can promote easily to your software via forum.
