What is the best software which limits access
by serlich, Fri March 26, 2010 16:01 I created and maintain the website for our community. Each resident logs in to the website using a member number which is unique to each home. I want to create a forum for residents only without the ability for outsiders to register a new account and post. Which of the software products you review would best allow for logging in using link parameters, preloading valid userid/password combinations, and not allowing for public access.

Actually, you are looking for a forum software that allows the disabling of the registering form. Many forum softwares do such a thing: PunBB, PhpBB 3, vBulletin,...
