What is SKForum?

SKForum is an open source J2EE forum, but not only, as it also contains an addressbook, a wiki, a timetracker, a TODO list, polls, guestbook and so on. The forum module is actually a small part of a framework application, which is perfect for hosting a complete website.

SKForum coding began on September, 2000, and 7 months later, on July, 2001 it had grown to 6 464 lines of code, to finally reach, on October, 2003 the final count of 49 067 lines total.

Review Updates:

SKForum is recommended for Tiny Community.

(and supports smaller communities perfectly as well.)

Final Words

Poor.

SK Forum is a really poor and limited forum, that has unfortunately another big problem: its default theme, that is particularly ugly. Again, this is not a very good demonstration of what could be done using J2EE technologies.
