Having previously tried to setup a community via another provider, I now know the difference in user-friendliness and functionality.
For me, an admin novice (but prolific user!) setting up with Lefora was easy and self-explanatory. I didn't get this with the other provider - well, not as easily and quickly. Since setting up, the forum has developed into a thriving community where like-minded professionals in my line of work can comfortably spend some pro-active cyber time (privately).
We chose to keep the forum (and its content) private - at least for now - asthere are others who are trying to copy the format as we are clearly more successful and more popular by far.
