Since the 1.6 release of Extreme Message Board, this software had the reputation of a resource hog. This is no longer the case today, and the trend seems to be the opposite now, because XMB can easily support an high traffic.

    We had however found some bugs in XMB, and we hope that this listing will help people who encounter the same issues :

    • We encounter some problems with the XMB installation : you should first edit configuration file (config.phpà directly, and then verify it, using install/ URL.
    • You need to connect as Secure Login if you want it to work (not in the default page, first click on the Login link at the top in the header). The default page did not work with the following configuration : Ubuntu / Apache 2 / PHP 5 / MySQL 5
