Best software for me

for me the best software is PunBB.

its is flexible, light and user friendly.

Yes, I agree, the simplicity and flexibility of PunBB are really strong good points!

Actually I'd prefer the SMF forums . I haven't tried out PunBB though . I'm pretty satisfied the way SMF works but only huge headache i'm actually having is with the security part . Spammers just come and spam my website to death . Thats a huge sore point for SMF , guess i should move on to another forum sofware which is more secured . Is PunBB secure against spammers and other idiots ??

Well, it's about the same with PunBB: you have a CAPTCHA module per default, but once an account is created, and if the spammer is following some PunBB guidelines (like not double-post in the same minute), the only way to prevent spamming in your forum, whatever software you choose, is to moderate, moderate, moderate (to paraphrase our dear Steve Ballmer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8To-6VIJZRE )

I think that, MYBB is the best forum software for me. It uses a standard discussion broad structure
and it is easy to use.

I think Mybb is the best one because there are different verities of forums.

Yeah i know bout that PunBB is really very good software. i also used that before and i found it really very good so i used it many time.by the way today there are many software's available but it is quite good.

If the registration complexity is concerned seo board and instant.net is the most easy and fast platform for the users to get register.
