Forum software with strong reputation functions and options

Hi

What opinions are there about the best forum software to use for strong reputational focus?

Example posts could be rated and this would reflect on a members reputation. Members comments on posts could also be rated and reflect.

Thanks
Ivan

Additional nice to haves:
- subject text validation in some forums (code to validate the subject conforms to text pattern before allowing post)
+ perhaps with suggestion on a matching thread
- additional fields associated with a new thread, user completed
+ required or optional
- custom functionality such as a forms which generate emails

Well, maybe a Q&A software might be good, like Atlas (review planned soon) or Answerbase, because, like Stackoverflow, the software and community focus on expert users and points/rank/reputation they can earn from others. It's definitely good if you want to create a community of talented and advanced users.

Unfortunately, I think you'll have to rely on phpBB3 if it supports it, because I'm quite sure you'll have to implement your own plugin, whatever the forum you will choose, as Mathjax is not the most popular extension you can expect (particularly if you compare it to smileys or instant messaging Wink
By the way, since I'm answering very lately, what forum did you finally choose, and could you provide us the URL of your forum to see how it looks like?
