vBulletin vs Invision Power Board

Hello all!

If you have money to afford one of the two main proprietary forum software, aka vBulletin and Invision Power Board, which one would you choose, and why?

Thanks.

From my point of view, I would probably choose Invision Powerboard 3.1... simply for its direct Facebook integration.

I think I would choose IPB as well, for the same reason Smile

Re: vBulletin vs Invision Power Board

Sorry I have to disagree, I have always found vBulletin to be superior. While Facebook Integration is a nice feature, it is one of the main reasons I choose not to use it. I don't like to mix Facebook with other things I am doing.

On a slightly unrelated, but related note what do you guys think of Infix PDF editor? I like Infix because of its ease of use, along with the fact that I have no trouble editing my PDFs with it. I had tried some other programs, and they were laid out ridiculously, and there was always trouble editing. I use PDF's as a sort of notebook for forum ideas, so I thought I would find out if you guys did the same. If you do, I highly recommend Infix over any other PDF editor out there.

Re: vBulletin vs Invision Power Board

If it's a two horse race then IPB hands down, vBulletin 4 is simply a mess according to a lot of vB Admins. Of course I would go with xenForo over both products.

I will of course choose Vbulletin software instead of Invision Power Board. It is simply a great forum software with number of user friendly features like registration, searching etc.

Hello everyone,
In my views both are best and both are having their different qualities.VB is better for seo, while IPB is famous for its beautiful Templates.I am using both boards.

As for me vBulletin is much more better. I like its features and functionality. But it's just only my own opinion.
