I've followed your guide on tweaking Drupal forums and loved it. I have one nagging problem tho. The post body size of comments, or topics is always so large even if the user only inputs a few words. I'm not sure if this is because of author pane, advanced forum, forums, comments, themes or what. I've looked everywhere. How did you guys manage to accomplish triming post bodies down to comment size on your forums?
EDIT I believe it's part of the forum theme now.. I was just looking in the wrong folder. Thought I was using stacked... sorry.
Thanks for reading our guides
Indeed, you have several way to access to data of the $node object, and you have in it interesting variables to get the full body, a teaser only, and even the raw body, before it's been formatted.

What do you mean by user backend? Many web galleries supports direct integration of folders in your server (hence you don't have to upload your images one by one), and take the filename as image title.
We use here the Drupal image_import plugin, that helps us importing batch screenshots of new reviewed softwares. We simply select the gallery, and then everything is automatically imported to the CMS.
Of course, if you are looking for a web gallery combined with a forum software, I would suggest you to use all-in-one products, like vBulletin or IPB gallery. 2945abc45 0714
